Aluminum Rotary Degassing System

Aluminum Rotary Degassing System Aluminum Rotary Degassing System

rotary degasser is an advanced molten aluminum purification equipment with built-in advanced heating elements.

According to the requirements of the casting process, the internal temperature is effectively controlled, and the online degassing device is used to remove the gas and harmful impurities in the aluminum and aluminum alloy melt.

The aluminum and aluminum alloy melts are introduced into the purification equipment, and the inert gas is sprayed into the melt through the rapidly rotating rotor to form a large number of dispersive small bubbles.

In the process of floating in the solution, the small bubbles physically substitute hydrogen and other inclusions to the surface of the solution, so that the aluminum and aluminum alloy solution can achieve the effect of degassing and removing impurities.

The rapid stirring in the solution by the rotary degasser can make the alloying elements of the aluminum alloy solution more uniform.

Effectively improve the quality of castings.

To ensure its precise positioning, two hydraulic cylinders are used as lifting devices, which are used to control the vertical upward movement of the graphite rotor and the U-shaped silicon carbide heater heating system.

It moves downwards and can rotate 90° horizontally. The hydraulic system is relatively stable and the positioning is accurate.

rotary degasser process flow and principle

Refined gas process

Inert gas storage tank → online degassing device gas control cabinet → graphite rotor nozzle → processed aluminum alloy melt → purification and degassing treatment.

working principle

A degassing device is placed between the holding furnace and the casting machine, and the nitrogen blown into the aluminum alloy melt is chopped up by the rotating graphite rotor in the degassing treatment pool.

A large number of dispersed bubbles are formed so that the aluminum alloy liquid and nitrogen are fully contacted in the treatment tank. According to the air pressure difference and the principle of surface adsorption, the bubbles absorb hydrogen in the melt-in-melt and adsorb oxidized slag (large ones with collisions). Way, small in a radial interception way) after rising to the surface of the melt to form scum.

The aluminum alloy melt flows from the outlet of the degassing device (located at the lower part of the scum) to the casting machine, the aluminum alloy liquid continuously enters the rotary degasser, and nitrogen is continuously blown in. With the purification process, the purpose of purifying the aluminum alloy liquid is achieved.
